definately finish year 12 man... you'll really really regret it later on if you don't have a snr certificate. surely they would be alright to wait 12 weeks - perhaps you could work weekends or somehow talk to your principal and come to some arraingment.

your school guidance councelor (if it has one) may also be able to offer advice and/or help take it up with your principal.

congrats on the offer though!
Oh look! it's 2016!

12 weeks is short for you but long for any employer.

Have you talked to them already? Perhaps you could start part-time with them to start the regular apprenticeship once you finished school.

I personally know some people who would jump at the chance just to get out of school, but you don't seem to be that kind of person.

In Germany finishing school is very important, and no-one would offer you an apprenticeship to start before the school year is over. If you can redo year 12 later on if you wanted to, you might tend to go for the apprenticeship.
picky, picky ;)

Take reg's advice. Talk to your potential employer, tell them that you feel your education is important, but you would like to work for them. Offer a compromise, You'll work part time after school, but your education comes first.

Completing your "year 12" is far more important than getting a job at this point. If your potential employer doesn't understand that, you probably shouldn't be working for 'em anyways...after all, what do you think they're going to say when it comes time that you want to leave to further your locksmith education???

Just some food for thought.
