Laser style of cutting on a standard key is what I am referring too. No, you cannot cut the worm track style keys with the framon. If need be, I can post a picture to show just what we are discussing. The method we are discussing is taking a normal say yale lock key and cutting it in a certain way that eliminates the peaks that are left after you make your plunge cut. It has nothing to do with say bmw, audi, vw, etc auto keys. It is just a method used to cut normal yale style keys in a certain manner.
Basically you leave no small peaks between your cuts as you would normally see when you cut a key with a normal code machine using the plunge cut method.
It is a confusing term used by companies such as ITL to describe an alternative cutting method that leaves no small peaks between bitting surfaces.
