Advanced Thread!!!!!

Postby keith82687 » 16 Nov 2008 19:24

Hey guys, I've been forum browsing like crazy and have been "pending" for advanced forums for a while. Is there a time in which you vote or approve applications? Should I do something further at this point? Just starting to get anxious about the advanced thread =D I've been eating through lock after lock with no high-security devices in it, but am currently too poor to buy a new high-security lock to experiment with (nor do I know what to get really), and so I'm stoked about the advanced thread =D So ready for the puzzles to get more interesting!

Also, what are my chances of being approved and how can I help them?

There was ( is ?) a problem with the "request line " since the change over from the previous software.
I would suggest to you and ANYONE else who has applied for advanced access and not heard from the Mod team, to PLEASE Reapply. I am sure the problem will get sorted out soon .
Thanks

The link is fixed, and it looks like all the previous applications are OK (I am in this group and my status still shows as pending, so it looks OK). It won't allow you to "reapply", as it will just say that you are already pending approval.

Just so you're aware (and this is covered in the advanced FAQ btw), you need to have been an LP101 member for at least three months with a minimum of 40 posts to be considered for access to the advanced forums. According to your profile, you have 10 posts and joined just this month, which means that you have to wait two more months before the mods will consider granting access.

Unfortunately, thems the rules.

Yeah, it's certainly a steep learning curve trying (to concentrate) to get the right lighting setup on the chastity belt. 8)
