Now, there is a fine line I think....

I thought the same until I looked closer and saw some discussion about manufacturers.
Example:

Notes:
- Abloy Smartdisc is, by the way, some sort of Exec+Cliq.
- Biffar is, by the way, a door manufacturer - they don't produce locks. Maybe they sell re-branded ones.
- Pfaffenhain was bought by Abus, so Pfaffenhain and Abus-Pfaffenhain are the same.
- ikon was originally called Zeiss-Ikon, but sice the company got sold to Assa-Abloy, they were named ikon. The logo still has the "z", so some people call ist zikon.
