Brinks Solid Brass 4 Dial Resettable Lock

Postby BethW » 9 Dec 2008 8:52

I confess I'm not really into lock picking, but was wondering if there is any hope of picking a Brinks Solid Brass 4 Dial Resettable Lock. I used it to lock a cabinet in our house, and somehow accidentally reset the combination and now I can't figure it out. Here's a picture of it on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P3ZJF8. I'd really appreciate any advice you can give.

I would recommend calling a locksmith. Or using bolt cutters - might be cheaper to replace the lock!

I would agree, for a lock that can be cheaply replaced it is probably not worth the time of attempting to decode the combo. Might I suggest a lock with a key as a replacement? No accidental resetting. :P

The lock can me manipulated open, but that doesn't require tools, and I don't know if that can be discussed in this section.

Looks like the rest of the TSA quality of locks, meaning the quality TSA allows you to have.
