Can someone point me in the right dirsction as to what is a good method of breaking off the " spin ring " on a mortise cylinder lock, I had one the other day at work where I had to spin off the cylinder that the keys were lost, I used a pipe wrench, but had a terrible time getting the spin ring off, I used a screwdriver and hammer , the screwdriver I wrecked, I am thinking there must be an easier way.
