Where to find some pins

Postby TTXIII » 23 Feb 2009 2:35

Hello all,
I want to repin my SC1 cylinder, so is there a place to buy about a small amount of pins for SC1 keyway (maybe 2 of each of 1-10 and some master pins)? Cause I don't really want to pay $60 for a Schlage repinning kit.
Thanks,
-XIII

I bought one of these from a local hardware store, and it worked out great. It even comes with a plug follower. But there are no master pins.

sorry for double post, but I forgot to mention the price. I got mine for around $7. But on the website they are $10.95.

Occassionally you may find a friendly home depot employee who will give you some out of their kit. home depot pays nothing for the kits, they get them for free. when i worked there schlage and kwikset always gave them free for buying and stocking their lock systems
