Keymark keyway + Peterson Slender Gem pick = win.

Our site sponsor sells Peterson picks, take a look: http://www.lockpickshop.com/JP-SS.html

If you wish to get just the middle Slender Gem pick, you can order from Peterson at http://peterson-international.com/picks/slenders.html

that thing is a 'slendergem'? to me it still looks thick.

keymark are difficult because of the paracentric keyway, however, all the pins are in the area at the top of the keyway, they end just before that first, most paracentric ward.

if this lock has a long pin in it, the picking can be difficult unless you have slim picks, the most slim pick is made from piano wire, round wire with a hook end and a loop end for directional control of the pick. this wire can do the long pins deep in the keyway.

they're fun to pick. I haven't seen mine in years, lost in storage.

The thickness of the metal and the flexibility of the particular steel is what the Slender Gem refers to, not the height of the tang. It is very capable of entering the Keymark keyway at a 45 degree angle, and moves around well because the metal is only 0.015 inch thick and quite flexible.

btw Rai, I need to order another set of Bogotas if you have any left. =)

Thanks,

Had a Keymark once but traded it before I attempted to pick it. Any security pins in those?
