UK Antler TSA005 lock. How to discover combination?

Postby crackerlock » 23 Mar 2009 10:41

I have a TSA lock with 3 wheel combo and also the TSA keyhole. I would like to find out the combination code for this but I am finding it hard.

I tried to shim it but the shim never 'protrudes' like the guides say. It just stays set on every turn of the wheel. I have also tried pulling on the shackle while turning but cannot feel anything out of the ordinary.

Any tips? It is only a 3 digit, I feel like such a newb! :D

I have also tried picking (with paperclips) and got to the point when I could turn it with the wrench but I was being silly and reset it by accident. Plus I would prefer to actually find the code.

Although, what is the best way to pick this with a paperclip? Picking or raking? I have no interest in buying real picks by the way, I just want to salvage my lock.

I can pick some padlocks pretty easily so far. I think this is called a wafer lock? With square pins?

Pull the wheels to the side a bit and spin them. There is a spot on each wheel that looks flat. Write that number down for each wheel. Then add 5 to each wheel number. You have the combo.
