Did I break it?

Postby psycadelia » 29 Mar 2009 11:09

I've been picking for about a month now and my favorite practice lock (which used to take me 5 min to pick) now takes me only 5 seconds. Did I just get used to picking it or by using it so much did I somehow make it easier to pick? Thanks

Probably a little of both.

You do learn the pin order. Try tensioning the other direction. Whole new lock.

On the other hand, the brass does wear out and the tolerances of the lock get looser too. A little of this and a little of that.
