getting into advanced

has anyone else been having troubble getting the app link to work to get reviewed for advanced? I've been trying for 2 weeks and cant get the link to work. Pmed a mod but no response yet. I was trying to get my app in by the end of this month so i can get reviewed next.

Hmm, interesting. It appears that when the forums were upgraded to a newer version of phpBB, the link to the usercp page probably changed, but the post that links to it hasn't been updated. It looks like just an unintended consequence of the forums upgrade. Has a mod gotten back to you yet?

DB is aware of the application link problem, and I posted a link to this thread in the mod forum. Now if we ever get a November list to vote on (*cough*admins?*cough*), we'll make sure you're on it.

Any idea how this impacts people who were previously on the the waiting list?

If you were already on the waiting list, you should be OK. If you had trouble with the application link, try it now. We'll try to ram through some applications soonish.

So, I applied in January to be reviewed in February and be notified in March.
At that time I had the requirements to apply (more than 40 quality posts and more than 3 months membership).

The first days of March are long gone but I got no PM neither accepting nor refusing my apply.
Is there something wrong with the system? What am I supposed to do?

The admins are working on it.. Not as we speak, most are sleeping now.. (probably where I should be as well)

Femurat: you were on the list and you made it in, so give the forums a shot. I posted in the voting thread just in case someone forgot to make the access changes, but try it anyway.
