Tension Wrench for a wafer lock

Hi. I've tired to open a wafer lock but my homemade TW is to narrow and i can't put any pressure to plug. Unfotunetly i can't order any proffesional lock pick set.Keep in mind that i'm just 16. So could you advice me any household item out of could i make good TW for that lock. I know that is very easy lock but i want to try any kind of locks not just pin and trumbler.

P.S. I apologise for my bad English and any mistakes i might make.

Pick up some of the pens that have a thick metal clip on the pen cap. I believe BIC make the best ones, but I could be mistaken. Take that piece off and make a wrench with that. Alternatively, look for some street sweeper bristles in the gutters in the commercial part of town.

Sanford uni-ball pens also have nice metal clips. It's made out of very stiff metal. Combined with a paper clip, you should be able to open up the typical low-end wafer lock in a few seconds even with blind luck.

Try windshield wiper reinforcements. Obtain from garages or auto parts stores. Be very careful when stripping off the rubber.

You can buy a small Allen wrench at your local hardware store and file it down (no need to use a grinder).
