Do you know who makes these picks ?

Postby FrenchKey » 12 May 2009 9:54

Hello,

My Friend the Manufactured'picks freak is looking for another pickset !

The second one of that page :
http://www.multipick-service.cc/htdocs/ ... s/tumbler/
which is said to be handmade. Maybe by a member of LP101 ?
If you are the man or if you know him, my friend would be very interested to buy one directly, because the price on multipick is very high !

Thank you for your help

If you look at those picks you can see that they are very wide.
Most dimple keyholes have wards as well which would render these picks useless.

As I haven't seen anything better, I would suggest the GOSO dedicated dimple lock pick set.

I wouldn't trust the quality on these picks, the ones in the pictures on the site are rusty.
<jkthecjer> this kwikset did not yield so easily

Yep, http://www1.dealextreme.com/productimag ... 7605_4.jpg doesn't exactly look like its worth the low price.

I thought the same but bought them anyways. Turns out it isn't rust, but grease. The picks come pretty greasy ("lubricated" I guess?), but are otherwise very good for the price once you wipe them down.

hy they didn't clean them up for the picture is beyond me, but hey, it's DX after all :)
