Unpickable?/ Anti pick?

Postby thedominator7a » 23 Jun 2009 1:07

The manufacturer claims this to be anti pick/ non pickable. True or false?. And if true, how do the tools look like?.

Ah, Abloly is considered advanced.

So even if there may be ways to unlock it, it will not be posted on the public forums.

I don't know anyone who's even claimed to be able to pick a properly set-up Protec.

yes I know that this lock can be drilled with the plug taken out, but I have no idea whether it is possible to unlock this lock without destroying it.. Single disc picking is really hard because there is a double locking mechanism which I think is controlled by the two dimples on the side of the lock. hmm..

you state that the bumpf says that its unpickable, then you ask is this true or false, then you say if its true what tools are used, you may want to examine the syntax here, if its true that its unpickable, what tools are used to unpickable it? I would reccommend a halligan or a slam hammer. or for unlisted, perhaps a tiny conical shaped charge one a one inch standoff.

This lock IS pickable, as is EVERY lock on earth at current, to things are necessary though, The skill and the time to do it. If I was making a list on how pickable locks were, the ABLOY family would be right on the bottom.
