I tend to agree with Wizer and Raimundo on this one. If you are actually touching the first couple of pins with the diamond or even the body of the pick they may just set "automatically". This won't work on properly constructed locks though since they have a very high tolerance for picking and won't just set upon touching them (they need to be precisely aligned).
Why don't you get some other padlocks like Guard, Yale, Tri-circle, they shouldn't be to hard on you and still can be challenging if you buy the top of line onces
