Baton Lock - Maxi-Security Cam Locks -Detainer Disc System

Postby Lora81 » 24 Sep 2009 19:15

Hi everyone,

I've been playing with many locks, tubular and tumbler, and I found them very easy to open, in particular with a Pick Gun :D
The net is full of videos on how to open these locks, but when it comes to Detainer Disc system, I can't pick it. There's not much online. Keys have special design and they are cut only by the producer.

A perfect example is the Baton Lock - 6000 series with R1 shape: http://www.batonlockusa.com/batonusa/ma ... r/top.html

Nobody talks about how to pick these locks: 6085,87,89 series.

I tried to use Warded Padlock Lock Picks with no success. 3 of the 5 picks don't even fit in the R1-shape lock :?

These Baton 6085 locks are not Padlocks, easier to pick pulling tension.

Does anybody has any idea on how to pick them?

Thanks
Lora81

Yes, but those locks are considered an advanced topic, and are not discussed in the open forum.
