euro VS american?

Postby ddc » 18 Oct 2009 13:57

Hello

I've searched and found nothing that contains an explanation, so please be patient - I understand that there are differences between Euro and American locks and ofcourse lockpicks and lock picking guns, but other than the teeth being in opposite ways, what are the differences? can anyone point me to a thread or post that discusses this topic?
either I'm doing something wrong or the searcg function doesn't really search...;)

thanks

-if you need stuff from Israel - I might be able to help.

I think the search might be broken.

The main differences are that European locks are often mounted the other way around, "upside down" to Americans, and that they have much smaller keyways with more warding--so slimmer picks (euro picks/slimline picks) work better in them.
