Replacing the cylinder in the Schlage be365 (keypad)

Postby dlong » 26 Nov 2009 2:39

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the 5-pin cylinder in the Schlage be365 with a "higher security" one?

Thanks,

Can you tell me which particular cylinders which be used in the Schlage B-300 series? Although, the linked PDF states that it is the same process as to re-key the Schlage B-300, it doesn't say that it's the same exact cylinder?

You can, but the lock will not work.

You cannot cut a key to those depths.
