DO they still offer a discount to members here? My last order I tried using the code, but it said it was invalid, is there a new one and I am just not finding it?

Thinking about ordering some stuff, honestly the lack of one won't dissuade me, but it would be nice.

Thanks - EM

Hmm, I really would like to know more about this too... I was thinking about making a new purchase in the near future, and was counting on that discount to be there. Now, I might delay the purchase awhile. Hopefully someone from LPS is paying attention!

I pinged one of the LPS people on the forums, they'll chime in. LSI should work.

Discount for Members Only - Lockpickshop.com

Let me clear this up once and for all - The very same discount code that was available several years ago for members of this forum is still valid today. It has not changed. In fact, it is valid through 2014.
The discount code for the Lockpickshop.com website for member of LP101 is..."LP101" :D Original, huh?
The only reason it would not work is if the person trying to use it typed the letter "O" in instead of using a zero "0"

We offer additional discounts, specials and coupons for our fans on Facebook as well.

Thanks so much to all of you for visiting and supporting our site. It is truly appreciated.

Weird... It's been a while since I've made a purchase, but last time I tried both permutations 0 and O and neither worked. It's why I asked. Wasn't a dealbreaker or anything, I happily went along and made my purchase. But, I was just wondering.

I'll try again next time.

Thanks!

ditto, I had to use the "TAG01" - at least I think. I googled lockpickshop coupons.

Search for "lockpickshop.com" on facebook search. Only one that will show up.

Just ordered from Lockpickshop.com. Typed in the coupon code LP101, no space, used caps and 101 was in numerals. On the order confirmation I got no discount. Ordered anyway as I want the product. Just letting you know.

I can confirm that it seems to be broken, or at least require specific items for the discount. Adding a 15-piece metal handle set and applying the code returned this: "Required coupon products not found."

I made sure javascript was enabled for the site since I thought that was the problem.

EDIT: per LPS, not all items are available for discount due to manufacturer discount restrictions. This is why some people aren't seeing the discount they expect.

Yeah, I guess I forgot to paste this after getting Red's permission, so here's the deal:

Lockpickshop's official word on the code wrote:Hi Steve,
There is nothing wrong with the coupon code. I've checked and it has been used multiple times over the past month. The assumption that is is good for all items on the site is incorrect and may be the reason you had a problem using it. There are 21 items that it is not valid for and these are kitted items - combination kits, which have already been discounted and we are not permitted to discount further (per the manufacturer) 2 of the 21 items we are not permitted to offer discounts on (per the manufacturers) and they are the LockWrite Pen - for police officers and the Lockout Specialist Course. There are 625 items that the coupon code can be used to purchase (-:

So let's not bug them about it any more; the discount code does apply to most (but not all) items in the shop. Please use the lp101 code whenever possible (i.e., don't just assume it won't work and go with the other one) since that's the site's affiliate code and we don't want them thinking you guys aren't using the link they paid for. :P
