After looking in your tool box, what is the strangest item you carry for a tool that wasn't meant to be a tool? But you can't do without it?

Lipstick, I use it to mark the face of a bolt to check where it touches the strike plate, and when installing a lock to mare where to drill for the strike plate. dosent work good in cold weather. lipstick has the ability to transfer to another surface when its warm.

Its impossible to see inside the closed door frame, but by marking you can get the info.

Playdough- used to pickup fine metal chips and filiings at customer site. Less potential for scratching finishes
than using a bench brush.
