I've always assumed that it was a humourous take on "kung fu". ("He used his ninja-like pick-fu to defeat the lock with a single swipe of his Bogota.")

Either that, or Chuck Norris gave input to the original board setup...

Chuck Norris doesn't need Pick-Fu. When he wants to open a Medeco lock he just gives it a "hard look" and the bottom pins rotates itself.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

I always thought that 'pick fu' meant picking screw ups. Notice how it also says 'Do Not Try.' Or a place where we share our screw-ups so others won't make the same mistakes.

"...-fu" usually refers to a higher level of skill. For example, in programming (Java-fu, bash-fu, etc.) and, um, apparently other areas as well (sex-fu).

Being a more simple soul, I simply thought it was supposed to be 'Pick Fun' and somebody missed the 'n' off. I am now enlightened and will walk the path of knowledge while engaging in much Fun-fu.

Its a kung-fu type reference. The "Do, not try" is a Yoda speak reference. Meaning, do it, dont try to do it.

Cpt Hook, I think that's the best explanation and is very motivating, thanks.
