How to lock a lock?

it feels like a stupid question...
I can pick open a deadbolt in a matter of seconds (with my new bogotas), I cannot lock it though...

There are two ways (that I know of so far! I'm still rather new to all of it) to accomplish this.

With a plug spinner, or trying to pick it again applying tension in the opposite direction.

It's normally a bit harder to pick a lock one way than it is another (it's odd, but true in most cases) so your best bet would be a plug spinner! :)

@Sugar: "Pick open a deadbolt" sounds like a lock that is in use, bad idea to practice on those.

Ugh.

Stop asking the same question in multiple posts okay? You have the same answer, over and over now..

Just to be crystal clear
