Hey!

I am wondering if the tension wrenches or what they are called work on european doors too. I can not see any slim ones, so idk..

Nope, you gotta use a pair of pliers, hammer and standard screwdriver as a tension wrench on euro locks.

A tension wrench is what you use to turn the plug in a lock. Find one that fits into the keyway. Problem solved.

I have about 10 different sized wrenches in my pick set to make sure that no matter what brand and model of lock I am picking, I always have a good fit. Some wrenches are for top of keyway (shorter tip), some are for bottom of keyway (longer tip) A regular wrench should work just fine for you, but you may find that some locks need a smaller or wider wrench. American Padlocks need wider, or the wrench will cam out when picking, their keyway is too wide for a 'standard' wrench. I have a wrench made from a truck's windshield wiper blade, about 30% wider. =) Works great and now I can pick American Lock without the regular wrench falling out.

The question really isn't if you live in Norway, the question is what brand of lock and which keyway are you trying to pick. For instance, I would use a different wrench for ASSA Twin 6000 then I would for ASSA Twin V10. I would also use a different wrench for Vingcard than Medeco.

tension/torque wrenches/turning tools are just as important as what pick you are using.

LOCKED.

Stop cross posting your questions from one thread to the other. Its starting to annoy members other than myself.

I would strongly suggest you read some of the FAQ's and stickies.

Oh and stop bypassing the word filter. Swearing is not permitted on this forum.

Thanks.
