Try picking it in the other direction (CCW)... with a bit of luck you'll pick it to the control position. It took me a few tries but it happened. If the lock seems picked but it wont turn, release tension and start again. Cheers

Amico mio, I have to disagree. Picking an SFIc lock CCW will not get you to control. The control lug swings inward CW from 12 to 1. Ci vediamo! Squelchtone

+1 Unless the padlocks are different, the control key turns clockwise. I am not a BEST expert tho, we try hard not to sell it.

the teeth on my homemade one are just under 1/16 inch wide and the space between them are just under 1/8 inch. i basically made mine through trial and error, and they are pretty much hit or miss if they'll work on a given lock. i'm talking about the professional ones also, so don't expect it to just work. it may help and it may not.

Ciao Squelchtone, stai imparando l'italiano? (are you learning Italian?) You are right, I don't know why but I was confused about that CCW... Thanks for correcting me. Ci vediamo
