Where to buy Mortise Locks in Canada

Postby UnlockD » 9 May 2010 23:57

Maybe it's just cause I live in a small town, but I''ve only just found a Mortise lock, in a Home Hardwarde. It's made by Ilco, but that's kind of besides the point. I'd like to expand my knowledge in the field of Mortise locks, but am quite limited as far as supplies go. I've been to alot of Hardware stores around here and surrounding towns, but this is the first I've seen. I know it's a little bit more popular overseas, but is there a store that sells a variety of 3-5 Lever Locks in Ontario?
Any input is appreciated, thanks

Next to impossible to find. All my (good ones) came direct from England when I went on vacation.

With that said, you can check Home Depot, they have (one) very basic version normally, (around 12.00 IIRC) and also Lee Valley Tools.

Than, ebay and amazon. After that its a plane ticket and spending British pounds for a good one.
