can't lock or unlock my safe.

I bought a Burton fr wall safe with 2 double bitted key the other day. Great I though, a safe plave....however I can't lock it or un-lock it. The key fits and goes in and turns and sounds clinky but does not open it. Why? Is there a certain way of turning it?

Please help as it was expensive and no manual!!!

Here's what you do:

Step 1. Pick up your the phone.
Step 2. Dial the number of the manufacture or whoever sold you the safe.
Step 3. Tell them your issue and proceed from there.

It could also as well be 2 turns to the right, how would we know from here? Maybe you have some pictures or better still a video of you trying? What all did you try, did you try pulling on the door real hard?

If it's a key safe and you can't get the key to work, call the manufacturer.
