MasterLock 141D

Postby Chumi_G » 18 Jun 2010 15:58

I know there are security pins in this lock, but after some pratice I got the perfect light pressure for the Tension Wrench... but my problem is that I can open the lock, but I have no idea what type of security pins they are or the slot they are in :(
Any Tips?

I dont care about opening the lock... if I cant read what the lock does :(

Hola. Cómo estás?

So, why do you want to know where the security pins are? Kinda odd. Also, they can be placed anywhere in the lock, so you will have to crack the bugger open to find them.

Adios, amigo!

I want to learn how to identify them :D I've been opening the lock no problem, but because of the tension pressure... not because im setting the fake sets from security pins, which is what I want to learn how to do.

pick the pins in diferrent orders. if you get a false set then remaining unset pins are spools. there should be only spools in that lock. sometimes there is a serrated pin, but not that often. master locks ussually only use spool pins as security pins. if you want to practice with serrated pins try an american lock.

I would get a cheap deadbolt, like a Schlage or Ilco, and ask around for some spare spool pins and repin it yourself. Then you KNOW where they are and you can feel for the false set.

That's how I figured it out eventually.
