u have to use jacknuts when there is no metal behind the pvc frame. but how can u tell if there is metal?

also u are supposed to use a 9mm drill bit to put the jacknuts in , i cant seem to obtain a 9mm drill bit very easily

is there another drill size u can use for these jacknuts?

There is no equivalent for a 9mm (.3543") exactly But the "T" (.358") is as close of an american size you may find. Good luck but online may be your best source.
