I have access to unlimited quantities of graphite powder at my work, very, very very fine powder. Is this suitable for lock picking lubricant, or can i modify it to be?
I've heard of that also. We actually mill graphite extremely slowly with micro-sized end mills (solid blocks of graphite) for use in a ram EDM, and all the graphite powder is scrap to them. This would be much finer than pencil lead on sandpaper. I might have to fill me a bag full of it, it'd be a lifetime supply.
Use a plastic bottle, that will keep it dry for a long time, if your gonna have a supply that lasts forever, it should be packaged to last or it will be wasted all on one job some day.
