Need help with a Subaru Outback

Postby minion5225 » 23 Jul 2010 3:10

There has been a Subaru Outback parked in the garage at the hotel I work at for over a month now. Management knows about my hobby and is interested to know who the car belongs to because we can't find anything about it on our log sheets. Does anyone know any good tricks for either picking these cars and/or what tools work best?

Hi Minion

I'm surprised your employers are encouraging you to break the law and thereby breaking the law themselves.

The solution to the problem is for the hotel management to report the car to the police, who will be able to find out who owns it. The car might have been stolen, used in a crime and dumped; or parked by someone who has died or been injured.

I know several hotel owners, and I must say I applaud the patience of your hotel management in allowing an unknown vehicle to be parked for more than a month in the garage without doing anything about it. Especially in these days where the risk of terrorism is high in everybody's minds. Most hotels would act swiftly if an unknown suitcase was parked in the lobby, let alone a car in the garage.

Cheers...
