Can anyone walk me through this one?

Postby NeedItOpen » 2 Dec 2010 3:15

I am hopeful that this site draws others like myself but also hopeful that some of the current, and active users will know what Im talking about. No other forum has paid attention. maybe this will be the one to get me on my way.

I am attempting to open a Yukon Gold gun safe. by Browning I believe. My "friend" has made a wager with me that I cannot open the safe. I may not harm the safe in anyway, he says I have to do it the same way as he can. If I can't do it by next sunday he will open it without hurting it and will have won the bet. Theres nothing in the safe, its his for practicing. I actually think he has smaller safes inside it :D.

Anyways where Im at now is that I need to find the contact points. well by listening to the safe and turning the wheel i hear clicks (and feel them) at 2 (1 1/2)- 7 and 14is. The one at 14 actually catches the dial sometime and drops it back to 14. You can really feel that bump. I was wondering if the 2 and 14 are the contact point? does that make sense? what is the proceedure for finding the contact points on the lock...

Is it possible to do what Im attempting, he seems pretty confident that he can. He bet me 60 dollars on it...

Well thanks to any patrons

Hi and welcome to the forum.

sorry but no one will be able to help you here as there is to be no discussion on Safes or Auto openings in the open forum, I'm sure you can understand why as we can't do teaching people how to go breaking into Safes over the internet. Also what you are talking about is manipulation, this isn't an art that you are going to pick up easily from reading a couple of posts, takes a bit of practice.

Not only are we not going to talk about safes in the public sections anyone can find with google, we're *definitely* not going to talk about gun safes in the public sections anyone can find with google.
