Deficiency with Southord Pick Gun LAT 17 ?!?!

Postby firehouse114 » 6 Dec 2010 16:57

Hi Folks, I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the Southord Pick Gun LAT-17? I have used it many times and yesterday I realized it was broken. The Spring housing for the "Snap" action broke and allows the spring to affect the spring release of the pick..... Are there any solutions for this or is the gun useless now? I haven't had it a year so I'm hoping the company will stand behind their product....
Thanks in advance.

if it's like the cheap one the end of the trigger inside may have ben forward a little from use, I had to bend mine back. Pictures a definate help. Other than that they are a pretty simple defice just a trigger a spring and a hammer connected to an arm. you may have to take it apart, make sure you loosen the spring tension and be carful and pay attention to where stuff goes.

I haven't had any serious problems with mine, mind you I rarely use it. I did break the part for adjusting the trigger though, cos I tightened it too much when I first got it... seriously, making screws out of plastic = not good. Apart from that, no complaints here.
