Hi guys..

I am new here and i see you have got a problem that people dont search for stuff..But almost every post that is here is someone saying somthing and you guys saying search...Dont you get sick of saying search in every post you do...LOL....

I know you know this but you have got to have a search buttom that people can see and FAQ thing like on the right hand side or something..

Is there currently a search button that people can't see? Should we maybe make a search button to search for the search button? :P

Okay, I admit it, the search button is a little small.

The FAQs though are at the top of the list in the forums.

The reason i say search is that if you dont have the time or patience to find something out for yourself how on earth are you going to learn to pick, unless you ask someone else to do it for you maybe ? Also the same questions get asked time and time again cluttering the forum ie

1 which pickset is best...........

2 Where do i get pick sets from.........

3 how do i get into this car...........

4 can you pick a lock with a paper clip................

and so on and so on SO PLEASE SEARCH

OK, you made me do this! I've held back from using this message for a while, but here goes...

**This is a pre-formatted message**

Here is the link which will take you to everything you ever wanted to know about lockpicking:
Image Search (hint - it's at the top of the page)

Please feel free to use it for every question you have, no matter how complicated your query may seem to you. The majority of questions you may have will probably have been answered before.

The use of keywords is important - e.g. "I want to know how to open a Master No3" - use keywords "master", "no3", "no 3", "#3", "03", "3" etc. If your question remains unanswered, feel free to post in the correct section of the forum and please, no duplicate posts. If you wish to know more about locks, please post in the "Locks" section. Same goes for "Lockpicks - Manual", "Lockpicks - Automatic/Mechanical", etc.

The "FAQ's and general information" section also contains a wealth of knowledge and expertise, combined with answers and links to most of the questions you may have. This section has been compiled by certified locksmiths and experienced hobby pickers. Please use it.

FYI, the Advanced Locks section is closed to new users. If you meet the criteria for qualification, you will be invited to access the secure section following a SINGLE initial request from yourself, so please don't pester the moderators if you feel that access is taking too long. Multiple applications are likely to be ignored. Your continued participation will be monitored and access will/will not be granted as deemed appropriate.

I'm sorry, as of 20/09/04 I don't have a current link. Please keep searching, and post a working link here:

Your co-operation will greatly enhance your experience within these fora. Thanks for your patience.

Without patience, your lockpicking experience will be short-lived.
