1. You need a medeco code machine, and knowledge of how to cut them. It isn't a simple case of cutting them all to 9 like a regular key.
2. Yes, but you'd need to be extremely lucky and/or have a lock with a very easy sidebar code (ie. all or mostly center cuts).
3. In short, yes. Whether or not it works is a different matter, and depends on a variety of factors.
4. Extrapolation of the TMK, or copying the target key. Without prior intel on the sidebar code or access to keys, or specialised decoding equipment, you'll need practice - and lots of it.
5. Yes. People have been doing it reliably for years, no medecoder required. Just look on youtube.
6. Pick guns are very unreliable, bump keys require a code machine to cut and only work on a certain percentage of locks, manual picks take a crazy amount of practice. That's about as much detail as I'm willing to go into.
