Sorry, but you'll have to either speak with your landlord or call a locksmith: that's not something that we're going to be able to help you with.

Not being funny but all you have to do is call the landlord or if it's on campus whoever deals with this stuff and they'll come and unlock it for you if you are allowed to use it - No point in fannying around trying to open the lock.

The lock seems to use a lever key, or *maybe* a warder bit key lock. Might be easy, might be hard - depends what it actually has - Suspect it's probably not mega secure.

Like the others said. This lock is on here to keep people who are not supposed to be using it from using it. I'm sure whoever has the key will give you a copy or let you sign it out when you need it, if you are supposed to be using it. If you are or are not suppose to use it and you open the lock, or worse destroy the lock trying to open it, not only can you be fined for it but suspended from wherever you are as a student and lose your housing. I would not think it worth the loss of all of that for "Just a washing machine lock".

You guys ever search someone's previous posts and wonder WTF...

Your old washing machine has been locked to your apartment. Well you can do is try to contact the owner of your apartment and tell your old washing machine has been locked. But just say of other member on these threads, it’s just an old washing machine.
