I don't know how to list your questions and answers effectively but will stumble through.
First, micros switch is no problem, BUT you wan feedback on and alarm FOB to show Open or Closed Condition?

Your second statement, disarming alarm with bolt retracted is a weakness, and you Trade Security for Convience. My Opinion

I am a Security System Contractor and like 12 Volts for My system and its devices, can easily be backed up with a Car Battery if needed during Extended Power Outages, I live in South Florida(Hurricanes) and it's nice to have Extended Time. So your thinking 9v or AAA's, ?.

SW. Some things don't need to be complicated, just have tampers, no matter whatever HighTech Protocol, end result is it needs voltage to retract.

The FOB and receiver is something I feel is seperate and should be considerd for it security in transmission, grabbing.

Wireless sensor security systems have greatly improved over the years, as these systems were first introduced for private use. One area in which these advances are particularly striking in the development of wireless alarm systems. As recently as a decade ago, wireless systems considered less reliable and generally poorer than their counterparts in traditional wired. But now both types of systems are running virtually neck and neck for the better.

Katherine, Is that your Company?
My oppinion is that wireless will never match Hardwired.
Sensor Batteries can die and contacts can corrode, I know the Panel will show a Trouble.
The signal can be Jammed, or interceppted, The Panel I have has Jam Detection, and if intercepted, your activity could be monitored.
If the Wireless panel is all in one(control panel/communicator). It can be immediately be disabled with an AX.
Wireless is Quick and easy.
I do have a wireless motion in my shed out back til I get hardwiring back there, And my truck has a Door/window transmitter that chimes my keypad at night if a door is opened.
Wireless has its uses.
