This thread may get you started, its along the same lines...

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=50297&p=379856#p379856

and most ic locks can be picked, but you'd have to tell us what brand you have (Arrow, Falcon, BEST, Sargent, Yale, Medeco, Russwin, Schlage). A picture = 1000 words and photobucket is your friend.

if you've never picked, this probably isn't the project to start the hobby. A locksmith can decode one of your locks and then generate the control key which should also work for your other locks, unless of course you only have 1 lock.

Like Squelchtone has said this has come up before... He linked you to a recent thread about Schlage LFIC cores...

You need to provide a bit more information here to get specific advice:

What kind of IC locks are you working with here ?

Do you have *any* keys at all ?

-- sometimes if you have an operating key removing an IC from the housing is a matter of cutting that key onto another type of blank...

Here is a link to another thread from several months ago which also addresses this issue, my reply in that thread discusses the various types of IC's and how the control function is accomplished: removing ic cores without the master key

Hope that helps... Please reply with any additional questions you may have after reading the other threads...
