A question about a Key Gauge

I've had to do that before, with good results, but most car keys around here are 4 depths only with a macs of 3 which makes for easy decoding. I'd probably be more confident decoding a car key 3 feet away than a schlage key in my hands.

This thread is three years old, but yes, Schlage is a MACS of 7.
