I just ran across a padlock that I've had for years (and forgotten about). It's a beefy lock, with a tight (to me anyway) keyway, and the key is marked "ABUS" . Can anyone tell me more about what I have? I haven't given it any serious picking effort yet, but it didn't immediately yield to me.
It looks identical to this, but with the Craftsman name, rather than "Granit"
Well if it's like the lock in the picture here then i got this info about this lock
padlock from Craftsman features a double-locking hardened steel shackle for increased cut resistance and strength Key Lock 9/32 in. double-locking steel shackle resists hammering Mushroom pins and paracentric keyway provide superior pick resistance Solid brass body for excellent weatherability Vinyl sheath reduces scratching hope this helps.
