Hi, I got acouple questions about lock picking and was hoping someone can answer or point me in the right direction. I tried searching and was unable to find anything relevant. - can i identify a specific lock by simply looking at it (ie. is there specific product id's engraved?) - where can i find out specifications (ie. # of pins) a specific lock has- is there a list of some sort?

1. Unless you know the brand inside and out, all you're going to have to go on is the shape of the keyway, which will identify which blank the lock uses.
