I've finally got my Southoord slim picks. They look nice.
I'd like to practise opening some locks I own.
I've tried with two very simple locks but I wasn't able to open them.
The first one is from my old mailbox. It looks like a simple wafer tumbler.

The problem is that I'm not able to move anything within the lock (any wafer). I've tried with medium pressure. I'm afraid of breaking the picks if I use too much force.
The second one is my house's back door lock (from inside).

It looks like a very simple pin tumbler. Notice that it's reversed.
The problem for me is that the keypath section is very twisted. If I try to introduce the pick at A I can not reach the internals of the lock.
I can only introduce the pick up to a proper depth if I start at B, but then I cannot twist it to reach A.
How should I proceede?
