Hello all!
After recieving the basic (~$16) 5-piece pick kit in the mail about 2 weeks ago I have successfully picked a Masterlock #3, a First Security lock, and my front door deadbolt lock and main key lock. I'm pretty excited about that.
Now I have a Brinks padlock and a Security Guard (Dollar store) that apparently has spool pins in them. I just ordered a practice lock from another site which should be helpful, but in the meantime:
1. In your opinion, how steep is the learning curve for these 'pick-resistant' locks?
2. The only strategy I've come across is where you use lots of tension, and push all pins above the shear point, and slowly let them down to unlock it. No luck yet for me with this. Does anyone have any other advice? I have searched, but to no avail.
Thank you in advance!
