Has anyone had any luck with these? I'm thinking about buying one but I'm not sure if they are worth it.

Can't pick a lock without one. Any tension wrench in particular?

This was almost a very amusing thread - I would be curious to hear both sides of the tension wrench debate.

There are already a collection of opinions on these tools,

Why not try making your own out of various springs etc.....this will give you a chance to experiment all the while feeling tactile differences plus you might just love the tools you come up with. I bought my first one years back and hated it. Went to homemade after that and never looked back.

yeah, if your handy homemade is the way to go. Its sssoooo satisfying to have a tool you made open up that which could not be opened (without a key).
