Curtis 2000 Rocker Plunger "frozen"

Hi guys,

I'm getting myself geared up to cut some keys but thought I'd try and lean up my Curtis 2000 automatic key cutter.

Trouble is tht the rocker plunger is frozen in place. No movement at all.
Not sure if I should use penetrating oil, WD40, heat or a combination.

Anyone rebuild one of these things? What's the degree of difficulty?

What is a rocker plunger?

Post a pic of the part that wont move.

Try giving it a twist as you push it in.
