Which Brinks brass padlock? Have you looked at the key to see how many pins there should be? Try using the back of a diamond rake to lift all the pins, then slowly pull it out, counting the clicks as you do so. That should tell you the number of pins as well.

Also keep in mind that Brinks padlocks usually have at least some security pins.

<------ Link in the left here. LockPickShop.com

You wanna get a southord set. I have used tons of brands now and I just tried southord and I am never going back.

I like HPC and peterson, haven't tried the "nice" Southords although I had a PSX-14 which I used until it was trash. I would recommend buying individual picks rather then whole sets. Saves money and time..

I have to ask... why do folks have such an aversion to buying things on the internet? Is the CIA going to knock on your door after tracking what you do online? =)

I know some folks are under 18 here and don't have a credit card or debit card, so cash is the only way they can buy things, but lock picks are not sold at most hardware stores.

Try a local army navy surplus store such as Army Barracks, or a spy shop if you live near places like NYC. Expect to pay $60 for a $20 dollar set at one of those spy shops.

Try craigslist, sometimes people sell them locally, just meet in person at a public place during the day, a lot of wierdos on there.
