It's a variant of a tubular lock. This type usually comes with a series of numbered keys that correspond to the numbers marked around the face of the lock -- and a change key that allows the lock to be changed from one key to another.

This lets whoever owns that vending machine (washing machine?) easily rekey the lock. One other advantage is that, because of the pin arrangement, the standard cheap "tubular lock pick" tools won't work on it.

Either that or a Chicago Flex Ace.

In either case, this isn't something to screw around with. It has a complex pinning formula much like an Emhart Master Ring lock. It has two shear lines with a center section. I won't go into details on an open forum, but trust me, this isn't anything anyone should fool around with. You can screw this up totally if you don't have the factory training on it.

Trying to pick this thing you could accidentally "trip" the change feature, and then all keys will not work. EVER AGAIN.
