What is this key for?

i have this metal key that is about 3in. long and only has 2 rather large teeth. When it is twisted and pulled it comes apart in to two pieces.

that's either for a glass cabinet lock, or for inserting into old skeleton keyholes and blocking the skeleton key from being able to be inserted.

We call them bullet locks.
