Anyone tell me what lock this is?

Postby summer_hatch » 18 May 2013 9:19

Hi all,

We have a roof hatch on our building that is locked by the lock below (I may have gone overkill on the photos), this hatch has been playing on our minds more and more since the sun has started to finally make sparse appearances and would make this summer being able to get up there.

I know it's going to be a pretty hard task in the first place just even the attempt at picking anything that is above you is going to be a monstrous task but it wouldn't be the same if it wasn't such a challenge.

We'd appreciate any help as to learning what type of lock this is and best methods available to pick such lock.

From what I can see it is a 4 pin lock and the pins are coming from the side rather than below (which I believe is unlike a standard vending / tumbler type locks).

Any help at all would be really appreciated and thanks in advance.

@summer_hatch:

If you were authorized to be out on the roof of the building you are in, you would not require information on how to pick the lock protecting the hatch which allows roof access as you would possess a key for it...

Not the best first post but also not that high up in the rankings of the epic bad ones either...

That sure looks like a Gerda lock, I thought those were only available in Poland?

Agreed on other replies, we're not here to teach people how to break into places or gain access to unauthorized areas.

This is not B&E101.com

May I suggest you get friendly with the maintenance guy, and work into the conversation if he can hook you up on a nice day with access.

Best Regards,
Squelchtone
