I was looking into snappers and rakes. I found that it could be a better learning experience and to get a better understanding of how it works by starting out with single pin lockpicking. From personal experiences can anyone give me a few tips?

take a lock and remove all but two of the pin stacks.
practice your Single pin picking on the two until you get it down cold. then add another stack and work up to the fully pinned lock. Once you are proficient there...get another lock or add in spool pins and practice on that. Raking and springing a lock is fairly simple but the art of single pin picking is where your skill level will flourish. It will take time and practice but once you get familiar it will come!
