Lockpick Canada and Sparrows Lockpicks?

Postby bowman78 » 22 Jul 2014 1:42

Hey guys, so I ordered a nice pick set from Canada Lockpicks. And while i was looking i saw that Lockpick Canada and Sparrows website were the same, the only difference was the pick selection, Sparrow had strictly Sparrow picks, and Canada lock picks ad SouthOrd and Sparrow. I'm just confused they have the SAME address same everything in the "About Us" Tab. Can someone help me out here, I'm probably just stupid and being paranoid but I don't want to have ordered from some fake website.
I also happened to notice the suggested lockpick purchasing websites on this forum said nothing about Sparrow or Canada Lockpicks.
EDIT: one more thing is I havn't seen any reviews on sparrow lockpicks. http://www.lockpickcanada.com/product_p/sf%20black.htm is the set im ordering.

I have a sparrows set ordered from the sparrows website and I am very happy with it. I know many people have also been pleased with their sets. This is the first time I have ever heard of lockpickcanada.com. I am really curious to see what others have to say about this website as it is (like you said) identical in layout and content as the official sparrows website. If no one here can answer it for you I would reach out to sparrows and bring up your concerns. Thanks for sharing.

I've ordered from lockpickcanada several times. I got the Sparrows "Competitor" set from them, which they don't seem to carry anymore. Very nice picks, and the case is awesome... it folds back and stands up.

For those who care, I emailed Lockpick Canada simply asking "I'm confused at why there is the same address for 2 separate websites." and posted the 2 links. The Exact Reply I got was Different sites for different companies - both use the same fulfillment location to facilitate returns. My best guess is Lockpick Canada Got lazy and just copied the design, and sparrows didn't care. Either that or they were both so lazy they hired the same person to design it. And Harry Tuttle, thanks for clarifying. There Isn't even proof that they deliver Pick sets that I could find so knowing that someone has ordered and received multiple times

I've ordered from both and received product from both.. I'd do so again if they have something that I need..

(I'm local to them so it's quick and easy shipping)
